Warner Bros. Pictures has set a release date for "Wonder Woman 2". The studio announced on early Tuesday evening, July 25 that the follow-up to this year's box office hit movie would open in theaters across the nation on December 13, 2019.
"Wonder Woman 2" is the only movie slated for December 13, 2019 as of now. The release date announcement comes a week after the studio set dates for a series of films, including two unnamed DC movies for February 14, 2020 and June 5, 2020.
Gal Gadot has been confirmed to reprise her role as the DC heroine in the "Wonder Woman" sequel which will also be screened in IMAX, while the return of director Patty Jenkins has yet to be fully confirmed by the studio.
Gadot can next be seen as Diana Prince in "Justice League" which is due out November 17. The Princess of Themyscira will fight the bad guys in the upcoming superhero team-up movie alongside Ben Affleck's Batman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg.
